Our goal is simple: to spread Susan G. Komen for the Cure's message that early detection saves lives.

We invite you to explore this site and find out more about our program and how you can tee off against breast cancer! Learn more about Rally for the Cure from Susan G. Komen founder Nancy Brinker (click on photo to view message) Rally History Launched in 1996, the Rally for the Cure® program, presented by Golf For Women magazine, has raised awareness of breast cancer and taken the life-saving message of early detection to hundreds of thousands of active women. In the first year, Rally celebrated modest success in registering 356 clubs and providing breast cancer awareness information to 16,278 participants. Today, 145 of these original clubs continue to participate with 20 of the original volunteer Ambassadors still hosting the event! In 2006, the program registered more than 3,300 clubs and gained participation of over 180,000 golfers for this grassroots awareness and early detection campaign. Eleven years and one million golfers later, this awareness campaign continues to grow. Mission StatementRally for the Cure®, in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Golf For Women magazine, is a grassroots golf program dedicated to spreading awareness in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Rally brings the breast cancer awareness message to women golfers, and its events provide the platform for special fundraising opportunities for Komen for the Cure. Concurrent with spreading awareness, each issue of Golf For Women magazine provides coverage and reinforcement of early detection issues that are so important to helping women realize that until there is a cure, it is our best defense. |
