I could not have done ANY of this without the two men that propped me up when I needed it; emotionally, mentally, spirtually and any way I might have needed it. Good buddy Earl Kirk and Adam Van Bavel of Komen Maryland.  Guys..none of this would have been possible without you.

Thanks to our small but mighty team of folks behind the scenes. Those that helped with accounting, creating of the logo and print work.  Joan Payne of Berman, Goldman & Ribakow, LLP  and Alex Kutsishin of MOS Creative and his AMAZINGLY creative team..what a nifty logo..thanks!

Big giant thank you to The Breast Cancer 3-Day Spokesperson Jenne Fromm and DC Field Coordinator Shawn Supers. I know many of you  had the opportunity to meet them and discover what I knew; how  marvelously generous these women are. If you wish to participate in the 3-Day just contact me and I'll tell you how to get started. If you don't want to walk 60 miles in three days, then feel free to donate:  http://08.the3day.org/goto/moformom

To the gals who showed up to help: Penny Kamish, Yvette Hoeflich, Pat LaForce, Kris McCurry, Gayle Metcalf-Stepehson and Debbie Paladino...I'm so thankful for your participation.

To Alexander Morozov of Photography by Alexander.  For the giving of his time at both the tournament and wine tasting.  If you are interested in seeing the pictures Alexander took at the event, please click on the following link:  Spring Swing Photos  Register and you will be notified when the pictures are uploaded to the site.  Alexander did let me know that proceeds from his sales will be donated..and I thank him. Alexander..your work is just beautiful.

Michael Nosek of Computer Plumber. Never would have gotten this website up and running or  hosted for that matter had it not been for your expertise and for tolerating my nonsense..you are the swellest of people!

And most of all, I thank my wonderful Family..My Men.  My Dad; Jesse Simpkins, Brothers Jesse (Jay) and Matt and my Seeeeeeeester-in-law Lisa.  You are my backbone, my heart, my soul, my spirit, my life.  Your love went into to the creation of this event as we honored Mom....she would have LOVED it and all you amazing people!

Thank you golfers..had it not been for you we would have had an empty course and really not so much fun!   I cannot wait to see you all next year for the  2nd Annual Spring Swing for the Cure..YAY!!

The date has been set

Monday May 18th, 2009 - Woodlands Golf Course

See you then!
